History

Barry Blaze and Eric Switzer formed Code of Ethics in the early 90's and released Visual Paradox in 1991 on independent label R.E.X. Music.

They signed with Forefront records and Eric left shortly thereafter leaving CoE to Barry's capable talents. Barry had an ever changing lineup of musicians join him on his future releases. Rick Brainer and Scot Kifer joined him for the Self-Titled: Code of Ethics in 1993.

On the third installment of Code of Ethics, 1995's Arms Around the World, Barry was joined by Tedd T. who provided co-production, arranging as well as keys, bass and drums.

Tedd T. stuck around for 1997's Soulbait but Barry brought in additional musician's, Charles Garrett -guitars, Steve Dale - BGV, Jerry Mowry - drums.

Then in 1998, Barry moved forward with a completely new group of musicians on Blaze.

This album seemed to be the end of Code of Ethics and that belief was put to the test in 2004 when Barry suffered severe injuries from a motor cycle accident.

See http://coeofficial.com/god_story.html for Barry's testimony.

However, Barry returned in 2008 with a solo release Patiently Waiting and a new Code of Ethics album Lost in Egypt in 2009
