History
Avalon is a popular vocal group formed in 1996 by Grant Cunningham. Current members include Melissa Greene, Greg Long, Janna Long, and Jeremi Richardson, of which only Janna Long is an original member. So far, they have achieved multiple RIAA-certified Gold record albums, 3 Grammy nominations, and 20 #1 AC radio hits. The group has also won 6 Dove awards, including New Artist of the Year in 1998.
Over the years, Avalon's lineup has changed many times. Former members included Cherie Adams, Nikki Hassman, Michael Passons, and Jody McBrayer.
